Registered Nurses

Alamo Area Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our care team in San Antonio. As a hospice nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality end-of-life care, supporting both patients and their families with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total patient clinical oversight and care coordination with the hospice Medical Director and interdisciplinary team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Deliver hands-on nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure seamless, compassionate care.
• Document all care provided in compliance with hospice standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (hospice or palliative care preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient and family needs.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the San Antonio area.
