Alamo Area Hospice is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in San Antonio. CNAs play a vital role in supporting patients and their families by providing comfort, dignity, and hands-on care during their hospice journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily care needs, including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort measures.
- Provide compassionate bedside support to patients and emotional reassurance to families.
- Report patient changes and concerns to the supervising nurse and interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
- Document care provided in compliance with hospice standards.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in Texas.
- Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health preferred.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel within the San Antonio area.
